You are building real wealth through a successful career in pharma, biotech, or finance — much of it in company stock, RSUs, or options. The money is there. But between concentration risk, tax exposure, and a retirement that is closer than it used to be, you are not sure if you are making the most of it.

Pre-Retirees & Retirees

You are the one in your family who takes care of things. Your parents are aging, and their financial picture is becoming your responsibility — whether you asked for it or not. You want to make sure everything is handled correctly, nothing falls through the cracks, and what they have built actually reaches the people it's meant for.

The Multi-Generational Family

You might recognize yourself here...

  • You receive RSUs, stock options, or an ESPP as part of your compensation — and they represent a significant portion of your net worth.

  • You are a high-income household — and you feel like you are losing too much to taxes at every vest.

  • You know concentration risk is a problem, but you are not sure when or how to diversify without a massive tax hit.

  • Retirement is on the horizon — and you want to make sure the equity you have accumulated actually gets you there.

Questions we can help you answer...

  1. How much of my company stock is too much — and what is the right way to diversify?

  2. Am I withholding enough at vest, or am I headed for a surprise tax bill?

  3. What happens to my unvested grants if I leave or retire early?

  4. What is the most tax-efficient way to handle my RSUs or options before I retire?

  5. How do I turn what I have built in equity into a retirement I can actually live on?

You have spent 30 years building a career and saving into your 401(k). Now retirement is close enough to feel real — and you are realizing that accumulating wealth and turning it into lifetime income are two completely different skills. You want to get this right.

You might recognize yourself here...

  • You are named as trustee, executor, or POA for a parent — and you are not entirely sure what that means or what you are supposed to do.

  • Your parents have assets — a home, retirement accounts, investments — but their estate planning is incomplete, outdated, or nonexistent.

  • You are expecting to receive a significant inheritance, and you want to handle it wisely, not just park it somewhere.

  • You want someone who can sit at the table with your whole family — not just manage an account — and help everyone get on the same page.

Questions we can help you answer...

  1. My parents have not done any estate planning — where do we even start?

  2. I am listed as trustee or POA — what are my actual responsibilities?

  3. How do we have the money conversation with my parents without it being awkward or contentious?

  4. I am expecting to inherit an IRA — what are the rules and how do I avoid a large tax bill?

  5. How do we make sure my parents' assets reach the right people — in the right way?

  6. Can you work with both me and my parents so everyone is on the same page?

You might recognize yourself here...

  • You have a retirement nest egg over $1 million — in 401(k)s, IRAs, brokerage accounts, or a pension.

  • You are within 3–10 years of retirement and starting to wonder if you have enough — and when you can actually stop working.

  • You are thinking about Social Security, Medicare, and what your income will actually look like when the paychecks stop.

  • You want a real plan — not generic advice — built around your specific numbers and timeline.

Questions we can help you answer...

  1. When can I realistically retire — and what does my income actually look like?

  2. How do I make sure I don't run out of money in retirement?

  3. When should I take Social Security — and how does my spouse's benefit factor in?

  4. Should I be doing Roth conversions before I retire — and how much?

  5. How do I bridge the gap to Medicare if I retire before 65?

  6. What are appropriate ways to draw down from multiple accounts without paying more tax than I have to?

Your Retirement Is Not One Decision — It's Six.

Many advisors manage one or two of these. We manage all six — as one holistic, integrated plan.

Accumulating wealth and turning it into reliable income are two completely different skills — and most people only ever learn the first one. We have helped clients navigate this transition successfully, building distribution strategies that account for sequence-of-returns risk, healthcare costs, inflation, and the retirement income gap that catches most people off guard. Work with an advisor who is not going to retire before you do.

Your portfolio is the engine — but it only works if it is built around when you need the money, your tax situation, and how much risk you can actually stomach when you are living off it. Unlike many advisors who outsource this to an outside model portfolio, we manage your investments directly as part of your overall plan.

ISOs, NSOs, RSUs, ESPP — each one has its own tax treatment, its own timing decisions, and its own set of rules. The equity you accumulated over a career can represent a significant portion of your retirement picture, but concentration risk and tax exposure can potentially impact your overall financial picture if not managed carefully.

Your plan. Your legacy. Estate planning is not about death — it is about making sure what you have built reaches the people you intend, in the way you intend, without unnecessary taxes or family confusion. We work closely with your estate attorney and other trusted professionals to make sure your beneficiary designations, trust structures, and gifting strategies are all working together.

You paid into the system for thirty years or more. Now the question is how to get the most out of it. Claiming at the wrong time — or without coordinating your spouse's benefit — can cost a married couple a significant amount over a lifetime. There is no one-size-fits-all answer, and once you file, the decision is largely permanent.

This may be your largest expense in retirement — and one many people never fully planned for. We plan proactively, not reactively. With our approach, our goal is to be as tax-efficient as possible and aim to optimize your taxes over your lifetime.

I'm Not Your Average Financial Advisor

Many financial advisors can look the same on paper. Here is what is different — and why it matters for the kind of client I serve.

I focus specifically on pre-retirees with equity compensation, professionals navigating the transition to retirement, and families navigating complex family dynamics and coordinating wealth across generations — because these clients have needs that a generalist advisor typically isn't built to handle.

Credentialed

Certified Financial Planner (CFP®)

IRS Enrolled Agent (EA)

Two credentials that together help to cover the full scope of financial and tax planning. Many financial advisors refer out tax questions. The EA credential means I can engage with the tax complexity of your situation directly — your investments, your equity comp, your retirement income — all through a tax-informed lens.

Common Questions

I Already Have a Financial Advisor — Why Should I Consider You?

Many people don't switch advisors because they're unhappy — they switch because they realize their current advisor isn't built for where they are now. If you have equity compensation, a retirement transition on the horizon, or a family situation that is more complex than a standard portfolio review, you may need a specialist, not a generalist.

A wirehouse advisor managing hundreds of clients can't give your specific situation the attention it deserves — and they have product relationships that may not always align with your best interest. As an independent fiduciary RIA, I work for you and only you. You do not have to be unhappy with your current advisor to recognize that you deserve better.

How Do I Know If I'm a Good Fit?

If you recognize yourself in one of the profiles from the home page, you are likely a good fit. However, if you are still unsure, the best way to find out is to schedule a 30-minute introductory call. No pressure, no pitch, just a conversation to find out if we're a good fit to work with each other — and if not, I will at least try to point you in the right direction or help find someone who can.

Do You Work With Clients Outside of New Jersey?

Yes — I work with clients virtually across multiple states. Our interaction happens over video call, phone, and a secure client portal. My practice is built around your life, not your zip code. Where you live matters far less than whether your situation is the right fit.

What Does It Cost To Work With You?

My advisory fee is typically a percentage of assets under management — deducted quarterly directly from your investment account, so you never have to think about writing a check. For specific situations, I may also consider working on a flat-fee, project, or hourly basis.

I believe fees should be clear, straightforward, and easy to understand. You can find my full fee schedule on the Pricing page, including a fee calculator so you can see exactly what working together would cost before we ever speak. You might be surprised — it may actually cost less than you think.
